Chantel & Danny’s Engagement Shoot In Central Park

A romantic engagement photo in Central Park, featuring a couple embracing on a historic bridge at sunset. Autumn leaves fall gently around them, adding a warm, whimsical touch. Captured by photographer George Pompilio, the image showcases a dreamy, intimate moment with a stunning golden-hour backdrop.

Congratulations to Danny & Chantel on their recent engagement! The happy couple met years ago in the halls of Edward R. Murrow High School in Brooklyn. They lost touch for several years, and then one fine day, they went out on a date. After seven years together, Danny popped the question, and Chantel said "Yes." The proposal was on one of the coldest and windiest days of the year—after all, it was November. Danny planned a fabulous dinner with their friends and family to celebrate their love.

A few weeks later, they reached out to set up an indoor engagement session at the Metropolitan Museum of Art due to the cold weather. Oddly enough, the week of the photoshoot was delightfully warm, and we decided to stop off in Central Park for some photos before heading to the MET. This impromptu decision led to what became a truly magical session—Chantel & Danny’s Engagement Shoot In Central Park.

It was my first time visiting Central Park for a photoshoot. I've admired photos from other photographers, but I knew I could add my own flair to create breathtaking images, and I finally had the chance to do so. Chantel & Danny’s Engagement Shoot In Central Park was nothing short of incredible. Chantel looked stunning in her long dress, which perfectly complemented her beauty and grace. Danny was dressed to impress in his Nita Fashions bespoke suit.

The park was crowded due to a concert in the Minton Tiles at Bethesda Arcade, but the golden hour sun gave us the ambiance to capture these intimate and romantic photos that tell the story of their love. We were so immersed in the architecture and the moment that we ended up skipping the MET entirely and instead focused on capturing this breathtaking imagery in Central Park. Chantel & Danny’s Engagement Shoot In Central Park truly turned out to be a session to remember!
