Kara and Drew’s story began in high school, and that history was felt in every part of their wedding day—easy, natural, and filled with genuine laughter. Their engagement session took place at Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay on a cool afternoon in late April, just as spring began to unfold. Soft light, early blooms, and cherry blossoms created a refined, understated setting that felt timeless and calm.
They were married at their church in Lynbrook, surrounded by family and friends who have been part of their journey for years. The celebration continued at Gatsby by the Ocean at Jones Beach, where the evening unfolded into an elegant, high-energy reception. Lush floral designs by The Showplace NY elevated the space beautifully, while transportation by All Star Limo kept the day seamless from
start to finish.
As the night went on, the dance floor stayed packed and the energy never dipped. Nutty Films captured every moment alongside us, while Kara’s gown from Sayville Bridal moved effortlessly throughout the evening. With the ocean just outside and the celebration in full swing, the night felt effortlessly elevated—equal parts refined and celebratory, and a perfect reflection of Kara and Drew themselves.
Val and Connor met through mutual friends, a connection that brought Valeria from Hawaii to New Jersey, where she met the love of her life, Connor, who grew up in Marlboro, New Jersey. From the very beginning, their story felt effortless and meant to be.
I had the honor of photographing their engagement session at Skylands Manor in Ringwood State Park, one of New Jersey’s most scenic locations for engagement photography. Even though it rained throughout the entire session, the day was filled with fun and laughter, and the weather only added to the romance and atmosphere. The images turned out beautifully—many of them now hanging in their new home as a reminder of that chapter in their story.
Their wedding day was nothing short of extraordinary. Shyanne and Dannel’s story began with a breezy spring engagement session at the Vanderbilt Museum in Centerport, Long Island. It was a brisk April day—quiet, elegant, and the perfect setting to get to know them before their wedding. They immediately fell in love with their engagement portraits, setting the tone for an unforgettable celebration.
On the wedding day, we began with striking groom portraits of Dannel alongside a red Ferrari—an unforgettable, luxury detail that added energy and personality to the day. Shyanne then shared an emotional first look with her father before the celebration continued at the church, where Shyanne and Dannel exchanged their vows surrounded by family and friends.
Wedding portraits at The Watermill in Smithtown were nothing short of magical. Shyanne’s cathedral veil caught the wind beautifully, her gown from The Bridal Salon of Huntington felt timeless and refined, and the gardens provided a romantic backdrop for their Long Island wedding photography. With makeup by Genie Artistry and hair by The Beauty Lounge, every detail came together effortlessly.
During portraits, Dannel even told me he wanted to try a photo he had seen on Instagram—having the bridal party toss him into the air. They went for it, and the moment came out incredible. We ended the night with nonstop dancing, Ferrari portraits with the bride and groom, and a champagne spray that perfectly capped off an unforgettable wedding day.

Toniann and Marco were an absolute joy to photograph from start to finish. Toniann, originally from Long Island, met Marco—a native of Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn—through mutual friends, and their connection was immediate. As the owner and head chef of Marco Polo’s Restaurant, Marco won Toniann over with his incredible cooking, and from there, the rest was history.

Wedding Albums
In a world where most images live on screens, a handcrafted wedding album remains the most meaningful way to preserve your story. Your wedding album is more than a collection of photographs—it’s a carefully curated narrative of your day, from quiet morning moments to the celebration that follows. It’s something you’ll return to year after year, and something your family will one day hold in their hands long after. the day has passed.
An album transforms your wedding photographs into a tangible experience. Whether displayed as a statement piece on your coffee table or enjoyed privately at home, it becomes part of your legacy—and a reflection of your life together.
Simply put: years from now, you won’t regret having it. Your future selves will thank you.
Designed to Tell the Full Story
Every George Pompilio Photography wedding album is thoughtfully designed to flow like your wedding day itself.
From the details you spent months planning to the moments you felt but didn’t even realize were happening—your vows, first dance, toasts, cake cutting, and everything in between—we design with intention and emotion in mind.
Each spread is laid out to feel natural, cinematic, and timeless, so flipping through your album feels effortless and meaningful every time.
Flush-Mount Album Design
Our albums are designed using a flush-mount layout, allowing images to span seamlessly across multiple pages without interruption.
This approach gives us the creative freedom to showcase grand moments with impact while still honoring quieter, intimate frames. Pages may feature a single powerful image or a layered sequence that visually builds the story. Custom text or meaningful excerpts can also be incorporated to further personalize your album.
Handcrafted Heirlooms
Every album is handcrafted using premium materials and archival printing methods designed to last for generations.
Your album is professionally designed in-studio, printed using state-of-the-art photographic technology, and bound with precision to ensure exceptional quality and longevity. This is not mass-produced—it’s made with care, intention, and an uncompromising standard.
Fully Customizable
No two albums are the same—because no two weddings are the same.
You’ll have the ability to customize every detail, from cover materials and page counts to refined finishing touches. Options such as specialty papers, vellum overlays, custom embossing, and elegant cover elements allow your album to feel truly personal and reflective of your style.
Printed vs. Digital Photography
Digital images are wonderful for sharing—but printed photography is how memories are preserved.
A wedding album creates a focused, intentional home for your images—one that doesn’t rely on changing technology, platforms, or passwords. It’s something you can sit with, revisit, and pass down.
Long after social feeds have changed, your album will remain—telling your story clearly, beautifully, and honestly for generations to come.
